U12s Regional Success – National Finals for Girls’ Under-12s

Huge congratulations to Yeovil & Sherborne Girls’ Under-12 Team for their emphatic success at the Regional Finals in Bristol on 30th April. Not only were they crowned County champions a few weeks ago, but are now Regional champions beating Clifton Robinsons 4-0 in the semi-final and Bournemouth 3-0 in the final, after winning 4 and drawing 2 pool matches. Astoundingly, they only concede one goal on Sunday, taking their total number of goals concede to two for the whole season! The now go on to the England Hockey National Finals in Nottingham on 13th May.

The Boys’ Under-12 team finished in a creditable 3rd place in the pool matches and were very unlucky not to qualify for the semi final.
