After a very successful inaugural tournament in 2023 the Yeovil 7-a-side Masters tournament is now a fixture in the Masters summer programme of not to be missed events.

It usually takes place over the first weekend in June on the Astro pitch at YEOVIL RECREATION CENTRE, Chilton Grove, Yeovil, Somerset, BA21 4AW.

It is open to any Ladies and Mens teams of players AGED 60 YEARS OR OLDER and welcomes entries from 65, 70, 75 etc age groups or a team incorporating players from each of the age groups. We also welcome expressions of interest from individual players who would like to join a team of like minded players.

Each team plays at least 6 matches (20 minutes each way) over the weekend commencing at lunchtime on the Friday and running until early Sunday pm.

Entries from local, national and international teams/players are welcome.  Contact secretary@yshc.co.uk if you are interested in taking part as a team, or as individuals to be included in a team.

ACCOMMODATION is available for booking close to the pitch and there is good transport connections by road, rail and plane to get here. It is also a good base from which to visit the Jurassic coast and other local points of interest.

REFRESHMENTS will be available to purchase all weekend at the Pavilion Cafe, and there is also a clubroom with complimentary tea, coffee, squash and water.

There is a SATURDAY EVENING SOCIAL  with food for all participants and their partners at Yeovil Rugby Club.

Trophies will be awarded to the Men and Ladies Teams of the Tournament as voted for by the Umpires and Team Captains and the emphasis will be on having fun taking part in sociable, competitive matches. All participants will receive a tournament pin.
