Junior Membership
Junior membership is open to players aged under-14 years at 31st August at the start of the hockey season.
- England Hockey permits juniors aged 13 years and older to participate in adult hockey. However, it is Club policy that individual junior members who meet the minimum age requirements laid-down by England Hockey must be deemed capable to play and/or train with senior teams on the recommendation of the Lead/Head Coach.
- In practice this means that players aged 13 years at 31st August at the start of the hockey season (school year 9) will join a Juniors Under 14 training session unless told otherwise by the Lead/Head Coach. Players aged 14 years and above at 31st August at the start of the hockey season (school year 10) will train and play with senior teams.
- Under all circumstance the Club’s decision into which age group a junior player will be placed will be final.
